Hi, I’m Alex. I’ve lived and studied in London, hold a MBA in business administration and am fluent in several languages. But my true passion is photography and video.
My fascination, I believe, comes from my father who was a serious and dedicated amateur photographer. We come from a family with a serious love and appreciation of fine art and I remember being surrounded by antiques, paintings and music when I was growing up.
As a boy, my father taught me all there is to know about focus, apertures and processing film in a dark room. Technology has moved on a lot since then but he was instrumental in me developing a photographer’s eye for the eye-catching photo.
My work today is influenced by my background and by my experiences on my travels during gap years and trips around the world. I have marvelled at the spectacular vastness of Africa and have travelled to Indonesia and Australia to indulge my love of surfing.
At home, mountain biking is my thing as well as music. When I’m not working, health and sports are my go-to leisure pursuits in my down time. Oh, put a plate of spicy food in front of me and you’ve definitely got my attention…
